Ngaio Marsh was a contemporary of Agatha Christie, although overshadowed by Christie she just as a good mystery writer. Marsh has the same style of writing as Christie but does it with her own sense os style. I really enjoy her books.
In False Scent, a Dame of the Theatre, Miss Mary Bellamy has an unfortunte accident with a pesticide. She falls ill and dies during her 50th birthday party. The list of suspects are long, she has argued with many of her guest before the fatal dose. Can Inspector Roderick Alleyn solve this mystery?
A really great story, I had a feeling as to who but not the why of this mystery. The solution to the mystery is a stunner!
